Finally, some recent news on Rebecca Hall. A Promise is to be released in the theatres August 1, 2014. Luckily, it had early release on iTunes, which I was able to see. The film was presented at some film festivals last year, with lukewarm response, good thing it generated a distributor. Rebecca Hall was on BBC 4 on July 18, 2014 to promote A Promise. She talked about her piano play on A Promise (yes, that was her playing in the film). She mentioned she played piano since a young child. And bonus, she talked about singing again, and wouldn’t mind if anyone considers her for a singing role (fingers crossed). Rebecca sounded so lovely during the interview, filled with her laughter. (FYI, Rebecca calls her dad “Peter” when she did plays with him.) If you missed the interview on BBC 4, it’s available on BBC radio iplayer, or for international fans, it’s on TuneIn Radio app (seach for Rebecca Hall and it’s the FrontRow).
